AFTER HOURS

After hours was a documentary project done in my second year in Temasek Polytechnic. It covers people who carry out their jobs through the night. The film sheds light on these unsung heroes who do their part for society while the city sleeps.

 

We featured fish mongers at the Jurong Fishery Port, newspaper packers in Bedok, security officers at Prosegur and taxi drivers. The content covered mostly ranged from their duties, how they felt doing jobs in the dead of night, how their families helped them and much more. Other than being the production designer, I operated the camera at some points of the shoot as our shoots were mostly multi-camera set ups.
