This short film was made in the second year in Temasek Polytechnic.  In a group of 7 people, we produced "Disconnected" which is about a woman who'd lost her mind after losing her husband in a car accident. After she goes to a phone shop, the owner lends her a phone and takes advantage of her grief. He manipulates her and claims to be her dead husband being held for ransom.

 

The psychological thriller shows a woman who lets her emotions and grief take control of her sanity, and eventually loses the battle. Being one of the first few projects I'd ever done as a production designer, I focused a lot on key props and trying to set the house of someone who was slowly losing herself.
